M1000 is Invert Robotics' M-series magnetic climbing robot for ferromagnetic coated surfaces, particularly suited to carbon steel assets of 1,000 mm diameter or more. Its dual independent track systems pivot to stay parallel to the surface and avoid contact with sensitive surfaces, and an actively controlled magnetic adhesion system carries it through 90-degree transitions between floor, wall and ceiling. It reaches 250 mm/s and carries a 5 kg payload, with tooling for visual, ultrasonic and spark inspection. A shielded transport case lets it travel as check-in luggage.
