LUF Multi is a remote-controlled crawler for setting up and removing water supply lines over several kilometres, for firefighting or flood control, in terrain that is hard to reach. A 300 hp diesel powers a stepless booster pump that gives up to 6,000 litres per minute at 10 bar. A telescopic forklift mast with a folding fork reaches 2 m and lifts 2.5 tonnes, so it can set down a submersible pump in places such as a harbour basin. A hose winding device and storage box lay or collect 6 inch or 12 inch hoses, with up to 500 m of 6 inch hose on board.
