DESCRIPTION
Lexo is a Medical-Robots from Tyromotion. It is built for Medical-Assistance, Rehabilitation.
Lexo is Tyromotion's robotic end-effector gait trainer. Instead of an exoskeleton frame on the legs, motorized foot plates guide the stepping pattern, which Tyromotion says makes setup quicker, gives therapists better access, promotes active participation and suits more patients, including those with contractures, orthoses or prostheses. Patients can begin gait training early, with a high number of steps per session, and progress towards independent walking. Adaptable body-weight support, innovative transfer modes and the PELVIS PLUS trunk-support system - with a patient saddle and individually adjustable back support - keep patients stable and encourage a natural gait pattern. An Active training mode demands self-activity while targeting initial contact, stance and swing phase, and passive-active walking with virtual feedback keeps patients engaged. A Pediatric Kit positions children and adolescents correctly, and the compact system is 231 cm high so it fits a range of therapy rooms.
