DESCRIPTION

Lely Vector is an Agricultural-Robots from Lely. It is built for Others.

The Lely Vector is an automatic feeding system built around a battery-powered mixing and feeding robot. Rather than a tractor delivering one large ration a day, the Vector serves small fresh portions around the clock, matched to what each animal group needs. It works in two parts. A feed kitchen stores the ingredients, and a grab crane selects and loads them; the robot then mixes the ration on board and distributes it along the feed fence, continuously pushing feed back within reach as it goes. A feed height sensor lets it measure what is left and top up only where needed, so rations stay accurate and leftovers fall. Frequent feeding of this kind supports rumen health, fertility and milk production, and because the robot replaces a diesel feeding round it cuts both fuel use and the machinery a farm has to own. It handles almost all feed types and barn layouts, and accepts several loading arrangements including hybrid set-ups with external filling systems.
