The IEQ Robot exists because fixed sensors are expensive to deploy everywhere. Roborn's argument is straightforward: rather than instrument every room, put the whole sensor suite on a patrolling AGV and let it visit the checkpoints on a schedule. It carries an unusually broad instrument set — temperature, humidity, pressure, illuminance, sound, smoke, oxygen, ozone, CO, CO2, NO2, CH4, H2S, ammonia, HCHO, TVOC and particulates at PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10. A 360-degree camera livestreams its surroundings, 5G carries the data, and abnormal readings raise an automatic alert on the control panel rather than waiting for someone to read a log. It comes in two generations and in variants with and without an air purifier, so it can treat the air as well as measure it. Roborn cites a deployment at the EMSD headquarters.
