DESCRIPTION
Hercules is a Mobile-Robots from Humro. It is built for Intralogistics, Lifting, Material-Handling. Key figures: 500 kg payload.
Hercules is a series of low-profile autonomous mobile robots from Humro, the robotics brand of Pune-based ARAPL, that drive under storage shelves, lift them and carry them to picking stations for goods-to-person order fulfilment. The robot navigates by laser SLAM and carries a 3D laser scanner for top-side safety protection, along with LiDAR scanning, collision avoidance and emergency stop buttons. It lifts 60 mm, which is enough to raise a shelf off the floor, and turns in place within a 1,035 mm rotation diameter so it can rotate a shelf to present the required face. Humro publishes specifications for the Hercules 500, which carries 500 kg, measures 924 x 760 x 300 mm and travels at 1.5 m/s when loaded, up to 2 m/s maximum, on gradients of up to 5 percent. Humro says the Hercules range covers payloads from 100 kg to 1,200 kg and that its fleet software can coordinate up to 100 robots. The larger Hercules 2000 shares the same body; its specifications are not published.
