DESCRIPTION
HausBots HB2 is an Industrial-Robot from HausBots. It is built for Inspection, Monitoring. Key figures: 6 kg payload.
HB2 is HausBots' patent-pending climbing crawler for inspection and maintenance of critical infrastructure. It climbs rough surfaces, gets over obstacles such as wires and surface bolts, and carries a payload of 6 kg. It sticks to the surface with AEROGRIP, HausBots' hybrid suction-and-airflow downforce system, which generates around 350 N of force on rough and smooth surfaces, ferrous and non-ferrous alike - concrete, brick, stainless steel and composites. Its patent-pending design lets it work on curved surfaces down to a 1 m radius, so it can climb columns, tanks and flat walls. HB2 is a platform rather than a fixed tool: HausBots integrates the sensors customers already own, including PTZ and static cameras for visual inspection, GPR, half-cell potential and ultrasonic tomography for concrete, and automated ultrasonic corrosion mapping and surface eddy current for metals and composites, plus custom payloads. Because nobody has to climb, work at height and in confined spaces needs no scaffolding, ladders or cherry pickers.
