DESCRIPTION

FREELEXO CAM 500 is a Consumer-Robot from Einhell. It is built for Service, Autonomous lawn mowing without perimeter-wire installation. Key figures: 12.4 kg, price €649.95.

The FREELEXO CAM 500 is Einhell's wire-free robotic lawn mower for lawns of up to 500 m2. Instead of a boundary wire, a built-in camera recognises the lawn by its colour and texture and spots visual edges such as bark mulch, tarmac and stones, while ultrasonic sensors detect walls, hedges and trees. Only a short 12 m guide cable around the charging station is laid so it can dock. A supplied 5 m magnetic tape works as a temporary virtual fence - around a freshly planted tree or a wildflower patch, for example - which the mower's magnetic sensors will not cross. Shock, tilt and lift sensors stop the blade and catch obstacles taller than 10 cm, and a rain sensor sends it home in wet weather. It runs on an 18 V Power X-Change battery (3.0 Ah supplied) with a brushless motor, cuts an 18 cm strip at 20-60 mm and handles slopes of up to 25 %. Mowing times are set on the keypad with LED display; this model has no app connection. It weighs 12.4 kg and is rated at 57 dB(A).
