Dinsaw mini V.3 desktop companion robot (Home AI / IPD / Elderly Care)

DESCRIPTION

Dinsaw mini is a Consumer-Robot from CT Asia Robotics. It is built for Companion, Information, Medical-Assistance. Key figures: 3.1 kg.

Dinsaw mini is CT Asia Robotics' small tabletop companion robot for elderly care at home and for hospital in-patient (IPD) wards. It has an 8-inch touchscreen face on a pan-and-tilt neck that turns to follow people, a video camera that detects people in light or darkness, a microphone with voice recognition in Thai, English, Japanese and Korean, and a push-to-talk button. The robot answers video calls automatically, so family members, caregivers and doctors can check in or hold a telemedicine consultation and turn the camera from a mobile app. It notifies caregivers when the user calls for help through wireless call buttons, the screen or voice, warns when someone gets up from bed or leaves the room, flags abnormal blood pressure and other vital signs from connected devices, reminds users to take medicine and drink water, leads exercise videos, plays memory-training games and streams music, YouTube and family videos. A monitoring dashboard and daily reports serve nurse stations and care homes. It runs Linux on an Intel dual-core computer with Wi-Fi, measures about 240 x 170 x 350 mm and weighs about 3.1 kg.
