DESCRIPTION
DeliRo is a Delivery-Robots from ROBO-HI. It is built for Delivery, Transport. Key figures: 240 min runtime, 100 kg payload.
DeliRo is ROBO-HI's (formerly ZMP's) autonomous delivery robot for last-mile logistics, built around lockable parcel boxes and the company's IZAC autonomous-driving computer. It sees all around it with cameras and laser sensors and drives itself at up to 6 km/h, and it has passed the Robot Delivery Association's safety standard review, so it can run on Japanese public roads by simple notification, with one operator allowed to supervise up to four robots (19 have been run by one person on private land). Expressive eyes and a voice let it talk with recipients and passers-by.\nThe standard version has four electronically locked lockers, each 476 x 250 x 155 mm inside, with one-box and eight-box versions made to order; it carries up to 100 kg (50 kg on public roads), climbs 10-degree slopes (8 degrees on public roads) and 5 cm steps, and runs about four hours on a one-hour charge with rear-wheel drive on four wheels, 4G and Wi-Fi. In a trial at Keio University's Shonan Fujisawa campus with Lawson, customers ordered convenience-store goods by app and unlocked the box with a QR code, while the robot was monitored and could be driven remotely.
