DESCRIPTION

The X7 is Dax Robotics' humanoid: a bipedal-form upper body with two flexible arms mounted on a wheeled base, and the first product the company shipped. Its development pace is the striking part of the story — the prototype was finished in June, and by August Dax had launched the first-generation product together with its Brain 1.0 model, placing top three at a humanoid robot competition; by October it had reached a hundred units in volume production, which the company claims as an industry record for speed to that milestone. The current generation runs XDax Brain 2.0, adding spatial intelligence to the perception stack. The published hardware fit is a top-mounted 3D depth camera, LiDAR, a microphone array, an onboard computing platform, flexible robotic arms and a configurable end effector, and Dax lists it working in unmanned retail warehouses, hospital emergency pharmacies, automobile plant feeding and logistics sorting alongside AGVs.
