DESCRIPTION

COBOTTA PRO is DENSO Robotics' high-speed collaborative robot, engineered to keep cycle times short without giving up the safety that lets it share a workspace with people. It is aimed at assembly, inspection and other multi-step processes, and comes in two six-axis models: the PRO 900, with a 6 kg payload and 1,066 mm reach, and the PRO 1300, with a 12 kg payload and 1,463 mm reach. Position repeatability is +/-0.03 mm on the 900 and +/-0.04 mm on the 1300; the robots weigh 29 kg and 41 kg respectively. Both run at up to 1,800 mm/s TCP speed in collaborative mode, rising to 2,100 mm/s (900) and 2,500 mm/s (1300) when operating without a human alongside. Safety comes from proprietary torque sensors on every axis plus functional safety monitoring of torque, speed and area, with an optional touch-sensing soft cover adding contact detection. Setup is handled by direct teaching accurate to 0.1 mm and a Blockly visual programming environment, and the RC9 controller supports Mech-Eye 3D imaging and AI imitative-learning software for harder manual processes.
