DESCRIPTION

Carebidet is a Medical-Robots from Curaco. It is built for Cleaning, Helping, Automated excretion care and hygiene for bedridden patients.

The Curaco Carebidet is an automated excretion care robot for bedridden patients, elders and people with disabilities: a bedside unit connected to a body-worn module that automatically detects urine and faeces, removes the waste immediately into a collection unit, then washes the patient with a rotating bidet nozzle and dries them with warm air. It replaces adult diapers and frequent diaper changes, preserving the patient's dignity and easing the caregiver's workload, and runs 24 hours a day at the press of an 'AUTO' button, with manual washing and bidet modes, a status display and self-diagnosis. Gender-specific female and male modules adapt to different body types, the system allows 30-degree patient repositioning and needs no special mattress, and a multi-layer HEPA odour-filtering system keeps the room odourless. The body-worn parts can be automatically cleaned and disinfected (99.999% disinfection rate per KTC testing), and the unit has an IoT-integrated ergonomic design. It is FDA-registered as a Class II device, CE, KC and PSE certified, certified as a green product by Korea's Ministry of Environment, listed under Japan's Long-Term Care Insurance, and won a CES 2020 Innovation Award.
