BVS BouMatic Vacuum Scraper autonomous manure-vacuum robot

DESCRIPTION

BVS Vacuum Scraper is an Agricultural-Robots from BouMatic. It is built for Agriculture, Cleaning. Key figures: 420 kg, 960 min runtime.

The BVS (BouMatic Vacuum Scraper) is an autonomous robot that vacuums manure from the alleys of dairy barns. Two side arms push the slurry towards the tank inlet, where it forms a plug, and a vacuum pump sucks it into a 350-litre slurry tank; at the discharge point the pump reverses to empty the tank into a storage pit, channel, receiving pit or slatted floor. It needs no rails: during commissioning the robot maps the barn and then navigates freely with two LiDAR laser scanners, on concrete or slatted floors, in alleys at least 1.7 m wide, under barriers from 70 cm and on slopes up to 8%. A lithium battery gives 16 hours of autonomy a day at about 250 W, it travels at 10 m per minute and one robot covers 50 to 150 cows. The painted stainless-steel robot weighs 420 kg empty and 840 kg in operation, carries a 70-litre water tank, runs at 39.4 dB at 1 m, and is set up from a PC or smartphone with e-mail and SMS alarms, remote troubleshooting and a remote control for manual moves; full barn Wi-Fi is required.
