DESCRIPTION
Blix is a Consumer-Robot from Sveaverken. It is built for Service. Key figures: 13.5 kg, 240 min runtime.
Blix is Sveaverken's wire-free robotic lawn mower that navigates without perimeter wires, base stations or satellite signals. A LiDAR sensor builds a 3D point-cloud map of the garden for path planning and docking, and an RGB vision sensor tells grass from bushes, driveways, flowerbeds and trampolines so the mower stays on the lawn. Work and no-go zones are set by driving it around the garden in the SveaMow app, which also schedules mowing, patterns and cutting height. It covers lawns of about 4,000 m2 (around one acre) with a 260 mm cut at 20-60 mm (40-80 mm high-cut), handles slopes up to 33 degrees (65%) with a terrain-adaptive cutting deck and optional wheel spikes, and runs up to four hours on two 0.095 kWh batteries. A rain sensor skips wet mowing, lift and collision sensors add safety, blades retract on impact, and the IPX5 body can be hosed down.
