DESCRIPTION
Axon is a Mobile-Robots from CtrlWorks. It is built for Material-Handling, Transport, Automating existing trolleys and carts for indoor material transport.
The CtrlWorks Axon is a compact AGV system and modular add-on kit that automates ordinary wheeled platforms - trolleys, pushcarts and custom payload carriers - turning them into autonomous mobile robots for indoor material handling. A small drive unit with a high-torque drive-train couples to the platform, a telescopic pole carries the localisation and navigation sensor module, operating lights and a user remote control, and a customisable mounting plate lets payloads be swapped for different jobs; sensor packages and accessories are configured for each environment. Axon is navigated by CtrlWorks' patented CloudNAV cloud engine over Wi-Fi or 4G, which lets it follow planned routes without beacons, wires or building changes. Functions include obstacle detection and pause, autonomous return to its charging station, autonomous hook-on to mount and unmount payloads, control of third-party doors and lifts, a web UI to monitor a fleet in real time, intelligent fleet routing and scheduling, and a REST API. Its scalable architecture is intended for multi-robot logistics in warehouses, hospitals, manufacturing, construction, cleaning and research.
