The Ambrogio L85 Elite is the brushless, higher-capacity version of the L85, rated for gardens of up to 2,200 m2. Ambrogio's own manual lists it as model code 7085EL0, distinguishing it from the brushed 7085EVO, which is limited to 1,200 m2. Brushless motors turn a four-edged blade 290 mm across at 3,000 rpm for maintenance cutting and 3,300 rpm when working, and the robot travels at 30 metres per minute. Cutting height adjusts from 25 to 65 mm. A 25.9 V 7.5 Ah lithium-ion pack gives about three hours of mowing and recharges in about three hours. The robot weighs 13.5 kg with its battery and measures 593 x 298 x 439 mm. Its tilting system and self-cleaning toothed wheels are what let it work steep ground: Ambrogio rates it for slopes up to 55% where conditions and accessories allow, 45% as a managed maximum on a trimmed lawn and 35% near the perimeter wire. Up to four areas can be managed including the primary one. An Eco Mode sensor recognises grass that is already cut and shortens the working time, spiral cutting concentrates on thicker patches, and a rain sensor is fitted. A Bluetooth receiver takes software updates from a smartphone. Measured sound power is 64 dB(A) and the robot is rated IPx4.
