DESCRIPTION
Amadeo is a Medical-Robots from Tyromotion. It is built for Medical-Assistance, Rehabilitation.
Amadeo is Tyromotion's robot-assisted finger-hand therapy device for patients with motor impairment of the hand and fingers, for example after stroke. It lets therapists deliver intensive, task-specific grasp and extension training of up to 700 repetitions in one session, target or isolate single fingers (including for patients with amputations or contractures) and train functional grips such as a three-point grip. Therapy modes range from continuous passive movement and vibration therapy to active-assisted, fully active and strength training with adjustable resistance and gamified biofeedback, and an EMG module detects movement intention to trigger active training. Built-in assessments measure range of motion, force, spasticity (Modified Ashworth and Modified Tardieu scales at three speeds per finger) and tone at rest. The optional RMT module adds Robotic Mirror Therapy and bilateral finger-hand therapy: AI-enabled tracking captures the movement of the less-affected hand without a glove, sensor or marker and translates it into robotic assistance for the affected hand, while the patient watches either the real hands or a virtual illusion of the movement. Amadeo is used with adults and children across rehabilitation phases.
