DESCRIPTION

A3-2 is a Medical-Robots from Guangzhou Yikang Medical. It is built for Rehabilitation, Neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

The A3-2 is Yikang's gait training and evaluation system, a lower-limb rehabilitation robot that lets patients with walking disorders practise a normal gait upright. It combines five modules: a computer control system, an exoskeleton gait-orthosis whose 200 W motors drive the hips and knees along a fixed physiological trajectory, a dynamic and static body-weight-support system on a 268 cm column that suits patients up to 200 cm tall, a large silent medical treadmill whose PVC belt withstands more than 5,000 kg of tension, and situational interactive games. Seven motors power the whole system, guidance force adjusts in real time and training switches between passive and active.\nSpasm detection stops training automatically, two push-to-stop buttons, a wireless remote stop and a manual release for the weight support protect the patient, and a pulse-oximetry sensor shows SpO2 and pulse live. The treadmill can run on its own for later-stage patients walking without the exoskeleton, and training data, assessments and reports feed an IoT platform. A brain-computer-interface edition turns EEG walking intention into gait start and speed commands.
