설명

Moby is Noble Machines' general-purpose industrial humanoid, and the company is blunt about where it belongs: hazardous, dirty, physically punishing work — manufacturing, logistics, construction, energy and semiconductor plants. It is built to walk stairs, scaffolding, unstable ground and cluttered floors rather than clean aisles, and to carry 23 kg (50 lb) while doing it, at 0.8 m/s, for about five hours on a charge. Its hands are modular end-effectors rather than one fixed gripper. The pitch is whole-body intelligence: a single onboard model that handles unpredictable conditions, external knocks and shifting loads, and that picks up new skills from demonstration, spoken instruction and feedback instead of custom programming. It can work autonomously beside a crew or be teleoperated when an expert needs to step in, and Noble Machines aims it at inspections, data capture, material handling and sorting. The development stack is NVIDIA's: an onboard Jetson Thor processes camera and sensor data, training runs on H100 and RTX 6000 PRO GPUs, whole-body control is trained in Isaac Lab and Isaac Sim with the Newton physics engine, and the open Isaac GR00T 1.7 vision-language-action model underpins the behaviour. Noble Machines credits that stack with compressing what it expected to be a four-year development into eighteen months. The third generation, Moby3, was shown at GTC 2026; two units went into a semiconductor facility for material-handling work, and the company has also shipped a robot to Asia.
