The NextUp Cobot is a six-axis collaborative robot arm from Nextup Robotics of Ghaziabad, built to work beside factory staff without safety fencing. It is aimed at light, repetitive jobs in small and mid-size plants, such as picking and placing parts, inspection and light machine tending. Nextup Robotics states a payload of 5 kg, a reach of 950 mm, six degrees of freedom and sub-millimetre repeatability. The arm is programmed through the company's no-code graphical tools rather than code, and it supports computer vision so that it can locate parts and react to what it sees. The company builds the robot and its software in-house and installs it as part of complete automation cells. One project on its website shows a white collaborative arm feeding raw parts into a line of two special-purpose machines, working next to an operator at a press.
