The Jaguar V4 with Manipulator Arm combines Dr Robot's four-flipper Jaguar V4 tracked platform with the rugged Jaguar Arm for terrain mobility plus object manipulation. The 3-DOF arm with a 1-DOF gripper reaches over 707 mm, lifts 4 kg at full reach, opens 150 mm and carries a 720 x 480 wrist camera; working with the robot's own motion it can reach virtually any position and orientation in its workspace, under joint-space or Cartesian gripper control. The platform climbs slopes over 55 degrees, stairs and 300 mm steps, raises ground clearance from 38 to 150 mm on its flippers and drives at up to 4.5 km/h in a weather-resistant chassis rated -30 to +40 C, with GPS/9-DOF IMU navigation, a camera with audio and an optional laser scanner over 802.11n. A ready-to-use control and navigation application, gamepad control with an optional head-mounted display or NVIDIA Shield controller, and a full SDK with sample code for Microsoft Robotics Studio, Visual Studio, ROS, NI LabVIEW, MATLAB and Java are supplied. It runs 3 hours nominal and carries 10 kg on flat ground.
