ECOBOT 8 is a model in Oppent's ECOBOT family of autonomous mobile robots, built in Italy. It navigates naturally by laser scanner, positions to +/-10 mm and +/-1 deg and turns on its own axis, and runs about 8 hours on a LiFePO4 24 V 120 Ah battery with 3 h recharge. Safety comes from 2 Sick S300 laser scanners, sensitive edges, 2 e-stops, Sick Flexi safety controller, and the vehicle conforms to ISO 3691-4:2020 for driverless industrial trucks.
