Trailblazer is ISE's high-speed, tethered remotely operated vehicle for mine countermeasures, built also for military, scientific and industrial work at depths of up to 1,500 m. It is engineered to manoeuvre precisely in strong tidal currents and to run long missions on continuous power supplied from the surface. Low magnetic and acoustic signatures suit it to mine work, and it carries a range of sonar and video payloads for detecting, identifying and disposing of underwater objects; its high payload capacity lets it deliver mine-disposal charges and other mission equipment. An intuitive control system and a rapid-deployment configuration support field operations, and Trailblazer has supported mine-countermeasure missions and naval exercises for military customers internationally.
