The L4-G2, factory-coded SHIR-4000EX, is the highest explosion-proof machine Shenhao builds, carrying dual certification — Ex db eb ib mb IIC T6 for gas and IIIC T80°C Db for dust — which is what lets it work in petroleum, chemical and coal-mine environments rather than only around gas. Its standard sensing set is fixed rather than optional: four gases (methane, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide) alongside a 32x optical zoom visible camera and thermal imaging. Detection is where it goes beyond simple patrol — leak detection combines visible light, infrared video and laser telemetry with AI analysis of pipeline flanges and ground stains, a polygon algorithm measures device temperature and alarms on anomalies, and a deep-learning recogniser corrects for skew, occlusion and reflection when reading instruments in awkward positions. Four-wheel drive with four-wheel rotation takes it up 32-degree slopes and through 22 cm of water at 1.3 m/s, charging wirelessly.
