The Mobile Battery Picking System is a Follow Inspiration mobile picking robot that combines one of its autonomous mobile robots with an industrial robot arm to pick car batteries; the arm's gripper can be customised for other tasks. It belongs to the company's Autonomous Mobile Picking Robots line, presented in 2023-24, which joins AMRs and robot arms so that a single robot both transports and picks products without human loading. The line's robots move freely around the workspace, use machine vision to adapt to discrepancies in where items sit and to identify them, and report in real time which task is under way. They carry 360-degree sensing for safe work near people, reach up to 2 m/s and run up to 8 hours. Follow Inspiration described the line as modular: any of its mobile robots can be combined with robot arms available on the market.
