i-Limb Ultra is an Össur multi-articulating myoelectric hand with five individually powered fingers and an electrically rotating thumb with manual override, which switches automatically between lateral and oppositional positions. It offers 18 automated grips, selected by muscle-signal triggers or Quick Grips in the app, with Vari-Grip for extra grip strength and Auto-Grasp to stop objects slipping. Digits are titanium in sizes S, M and L for 50% more carry load, and Speed Boost raises digit speed by up to 30%. The hand holds a static load of up to 90 kg (40 kg extra small), each finger up to 32 kg, and closes fully in 0.8 seconds. It weighs 488 g in medium/large with a wrist disconnect and runs on a 7.4 V lithium-polymer battery of 2,000 or 1,300 mAh, configured through the Biosim and My i-Limb apps.
