The 'Baihong · Explore' is CETC's lightweight lower-limb exoskeleton, and its defining number is 2.2 kg — light enough, and certified enough, that CETC advertises it as 3C-certified and approved as airline carry-on, which is an unusual claim for a powered assistive device and says a good deal about who it is for. It is built for outdoor walking, running and stair climbing, with a carbon-fibre body, a detachable battery, and a multi-modal sensing system feeding a gait-intention recognition algorithm that identifies what the wearer is about to do and adapts the assistance to match. CETC emphasises that it transitions seamlessly between flat ground, uphill and downhill slopes and stairs without the wearer switching modes.
