ARGOS-X is a variant of Forssea Robotics' ARGOS smart ROV designed for high-speed subsea surveys and for integration with unmanned surface vessels. Like the rest of the ARGOS family it is a compact, all-electric observation-class ROV built for remotely supervised operations, with autonomous navigation features that absorb communication latency and help pilots keep situational awareness. The ARGOS family is delivered ready to dive with an INS-DVL for survey-grade acquisition, a submersible GNSS for quick calibration on deck, a 4K camera with georeferenced overlays and synchronised ports for extra survey payloads, and is controlled through a secured web interface built for remote operation centres, with assisted and semi-autonomous piloting, go-to waypoints and path following. Forssea has not published a separate ARGOS-X datasheet.
