BESCHREIBUNG
The DG-5F-S is the humanoid-oriented member of Tesollo's five-finger range: the same 20 degrees of freedom as the DG-5F-M, but in a package the size of an adult human hand weighing under a kilogram. Weight is the binding constraint on a humanoid wrist — every gram at the end of the arm costs payload and dynamics everywhere upstream — so 880 g with full 20-DoF articulation is the point of the design. Each joint keeps its own actuator and independent control, preserving the dexterity needed for in-hand manipulation, tool use, unstructured object handling and precision assembly and fastening. It runs at 500 Hz, the fastest control loop in the range, over Ethernet or Modbus TCP. A compact 15-DoF five-finger configuration is available where platform constraints demand it, and tactile fingertip sensing is optional.
