BESCHREIBUNG
The MagicDog Y1 is the industrial member of the family and a different class of machine from its siblings: 70 kg, IP67-rated, and built to work from -20 to 55 degrees Celsius through sand, dust, rain and snow. The payload figures are the headline — 150 kg maximum and 45 kg dynamic, against the 10 kg the consumer MagicDogs manage — and it still reaches 6 m/s and climbs 60 cm obstacles and 45-degree slopes. What makes it credible for real deployment is the endurance and serviceability story rather than the peak numbers: a 45 Ah 2,400 Wh pack gives four to six hours, or over four hours of continuous walking under a 20 kg load, and the battery hot-swaps with zero downtime while the robot auto-returns to recharge at low power. It is designed as an open platform, with 157 TOPS of extended computing, a documented set of power, USB, Ethernet and EtherCAT expansion interfaces, mounting hardware, and second-swap dual-spectrum and gas modules — so an operator can bolt on an infrared thermal imager, a dual-light PTZ camera, an acoustic imager or a partial-discharge sensor for substation inspection, park patrol, emergency response or research.
