DOBOT Atom (Humanoid Robot)

ATOM is Dobot Robotics' humanoid robot, built around dexterous upper-body manipulation rather than locomotion alone. The base model carries 28 upper-body degrees of freedom and the ATOM Max variant raises that to 41. Fine motor control comes from Dobot's Neuro-Driven Dexterity System, which applies servo-level vibration suppression under 200 Hz high-frequency control. Walking is handled by an Anthropomorphic Walking System using a straight-knee gait, which Dobot says cuts energy consumption by 42 percent against conventional bent-knee walking. On the software side, the Robot Operator Model-1 runs 100 million parameters at 24 Hz end-to-end control and decomposes tasks autonomously rather than following fixed scripts. Perception is binocular RGB vision on the base model, while ATOM Max adds a 60 FPS Full HD vision system and Intel RealSense D455 depth sensing. Dobot targets automotive assembly-line material handling, beverage preparation in coffee shops and night-time pharmacy dispensing.
