BESCHREIBUNG
Agile ONE is the first humanoid robot from Agile Robots, the Munich company founded by experts from the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Launched in Munich on 19 November 2025, it is built for industrial settings, to work safely alongside people and alongside the company's other robotic systems, and Agile Robots manufactures it in-house in Germany at a new facility in Bavaria, with full production planned from early 2026. It is life-sized at 174 cm and 69 kg, walks at up to 2 m/s to keep pace with human workflows and carries a 20 kg payload; the company cites 71 degrees of freedom in total and up to eight hours of battery life. Its hands are the centrepiece: modular fingers with 21 joints per hand, fingertip sensors and force-torque sensing in every joint, which Agile Robots presents as the world's most dexterous robotic hand and which let it handle both delicate and forceful tasks. Intelligent cameras and LiDARs give it spatial awareness - including tracking obstacles while carrying objects too large for a person to see past - and speech recognition lets it take and answer spoken instructions. Expressive eyes, light signals, a chest information display, vocal responses and a proximity sensor tell the people around it what it is doing. Agile ONE runs Robot Foundation Models trained on real-world industrial data from production floors - which the company calls one of Europe's largest such datasets - plus simulated data and teleoperation and human data gathered at its data farms. The intelligence is layered, with separate levels for strategic reasoning and task planning, rapid response, and fine motor precision. It is designed for material gathering and transport, pick-and-place, machine tending, tool use and fine manipulation, and it is not meant to stand alone: Agile Robots' AgileCore software platform ties it into a production system with the company's Agile Hand, Diana 7 and Thor arms and its mobile robots, each part learning from the others.
