The Concrete Shear Wall Grinding Robot is one of the concrete-dressing robots developed by Bozhilin Robot, the construction-robotics company of Country Garden that markets its machines as Bright Dream Robotics; in North America the dealer ProBuild Robotics sells it as the concrete interior wall polishing robot. It corrects cast-in-place interior concrete shear walls that do not meet verticality and flatness standards, preparing a sound base for later decoration work. The wheeled robot navigates and plans its own path, then grinds the wall face with a fully enclosed grinding head while detecting grinding depth and collecting dust automatically. Once the operation parameters are entered it works unmanned, or one operator can run two machines; obstacle stopping and collision detection protect people nearby. Bright Dream rates its grinding efficiency at more than 1.7 times manual work. Combined with its screw-hole plugging robot and the concrete ceiling grinding robot, a crew of four can finish about 500 m² of a floor per day.
