YMBot Type A

描述

The YMBot Type A is Yunmu's industrial bipedal humanoid, and its distinguishing feature is the drive technology rather than the silhouette. Yunmu claims it is the first in China to develop and successfully deploy small-size high-thrust linear actuators, with a single actuator reaching 8,000 N of thrust — planetary roller screw actuators of the kind that trade the compliance of rotary joints for raw pushing force in a compact package. The machine itself stands up to 175 cm and weighs up to 75 kg, carries more than 30 body degrees of freedom, and can be configured with dual dexterous hands. Its performance envelope is honest about what a screw-driven biped does well and badly: it walks at up to 0.5 m/s and handles slopes to 10 degrees, so it is not built for speed or rough ground, but each arm lifts up to 5 kg and it runs up to three hours on a 48 V 14 Ah pack. Perception combines depth vision cameras with solid-state LiDARs, and an inertial navigation system with six-axis force sensing supports bipedal walking, autonomous planning and intelligent interaction.
