Workerbot3 (product type WB3) is pi4_robotics' humanoid dual-arm factory robot for flexible production, with a face for easy communication and two arms on a base cabinet. The current generation has 'seeing hands' - cameras and image processing that recognise the position of parts so the robot corrects itself - plus an optional waist rotation axis that lets it load and unload its own workstation and the autonomous parts supply. It comes with arms of 1,300 mm and 10 kg payload each or 850 mm and 5 kg each, takes different grippers, and has integrated safety technology of the highest category for connecting light grids, fence monitoring or laser scanners. Peripherals such as inspection and buffer systems connect over the integrated pi4-bus, and it is programmed with pi4's pi4_control software; pi4 pitches it as a quickly redeployable worker for short product life cycles and small batches, and uses it inside its Workerbotkiosk.
