The SimplePick AI Robot is GEBHARDT's collaborative picking robot for goods-to-person workstations. Its intelligent gripper and suction system takes items - polybags, blister packs, net bags and unpackaged goods - from small load carriers divided into up to eight compartments and places them in target containers in variable positions or set patterns, at up to 1,000 picks per hour depending on the products. Because it is a cobot with minimal safety requirements, it works directly alongside people without a separate robot cell, and it can switch between manual and fully automated picking at any time. It plugs into GEBHARDT SimplePick workstations, InstaPick and conventional conveyors, and if an item cannot be picked the container is automatically sent to a manual workstation with a buffer, so operations do not stop.
