The MOBOT eduRunner MW is a compact, four-wheel-drive Mecanum robot designed for mobile-robotics classes at universities and technical schools. Small and light enough for offices and laboratories, it has direction indicators, an HMI touch panel, a safety switch, function buttons and a 2D laser scanner with safety function, and its housing has mounting plates for adding sensors and other accessories. It navigates with the same LMS laser mapping system and is programmed with the same MOBOT RoutePlanner software as WObit's industrial AGVs: students map the environment, create routes and missions such as driving to a point and taking a sensor measurement, and can drive it manually from a computer keyboard. The site does not publish numeric specifications for the eduRunner MW.
