The iCRA3 is a benchtop three-axis Cartesian robot made by RobotoAI Technologies in Coimbatore for small assembly tasks. A Cartesian (gantry) robot moves its tool along three straight axes, X, Y and Z, which makes it simple to program and accurate for repeated point-to-point work on parts held on its table. The machine has a 360 x 360 x 150 mm working area, a stated repeatability of plus or minus 0.02 mm and a resolution of 0.005 mm per axis, and moves at up to 100 mm per second. It carries a workpiece load of 3 kg and a tool load of 6 kg, weighs 40 kg, measures 770 x 626 x 747 mm and draws at most 70 W from a 200-240 V AC supply. Jobs are programmed from a built-in touch screen. RobotoAI offers it for dispensing adhesives and sealants, PCB depanelling, engraving, cutting, material scanning, light palletising, pick and place, welding and drawing.
