Firefly is EULON's lower-limb walking aid for hemiplegic gait — a shoulder-and-waist harness carrying the drive unit on the back, with cables running down each leg to ankle cuffs to assist toe flexion. Where Ruyi treats one ankle, Firefly is built around walking as a whole-body activity, and the harness is what lets it drive both sides. It weighs about 3 kg and EULON claims a familiar user can be into it in under a minute, which matters for a device meant to be put on and taken off daily rather than fitted once in a clinic. A 6,700 mAh battery supports walking at up to 120 steps per minute. The control layer fuses stride length, stride speed and joint angle from a set of motion sensors to recognise movement intent, then delivers assistance in step with the body's own pattern rather than imposing a cadence. Assistance strategy is tuned by ergonomic analysis, and gait curves before and after assistance are compared in real time to give clinicians a basis for judging whether the rehabilitation is working. EULON's stated population is patients with ankle hypodynamia or gait abnormalities due to hemiplegia.
