The L2 core is the base model of SAFELOG's heavy L2 series for pallets and pallet cages of up to 1,500 kg. Omnidirectional travel and the ability to turn on the spot keep it agile in confined spaces despite the high payload. Without active load handling, it is used as a transport robot for goods-to-person processes or, with a custom superstructure such as a conveyor, as a mobile assembly platform. Per its datasheet it measures 1,200 x 700 x 310 mm, weighs 243 kg, drives at up to 1.0 m/s loaded (1.6 m/s empty), positions to +/-5 mm and runs about 1.7 hours under load on two 24 V 42 Ah LiFePO4 packs, or up to about 3.4 hours with four.
