The UniMover O 600 is Oceaneering Mobile Robotics' omnidirectional underride robot, developed for light industrial and healthcare intralogistics where space is extremely limited. It drives under carts and lifts them, moving medical equipment and supplies, meals, laundry, pharmaceuticals, packaging and engineered parts, and integrates without structural changes to the building. It carries up to 600 kg on an incorporated lift deck with a 410 mm handling height. Omnidirectional drive allows zero-degree turns and crab motion at up to 1.8 m/s, it climbs grades up to 8 percent, and it navigates by natural features to plus or minus 10 mm and 1 degree. The low 1,670 x 600 x 335 mm body has a wraparound stainless-steel deck with no crevices, easy to disinfect for hospital use, and runs on a 48 V lithium-ion battery with automatic front charging for 24/7 service. Four safety lasers give 360-degree coverage, with a safety PLC, two emergency stops and load presence sensors, ANSI B56.5 / ISO 3691-4 compliance, and options including RFID load identification, load orientation detection and a voice module; fleets are managed through OMR Supervisory Software.
