Maia 2000 is an autonomous pallet jack from Humro, the robotics brand of Pune-based ARAPL. It moves closed or open pallets floor to floor in warehouses, for example from docks to staging lanes, and is synchronised with digital warehouse systems. The pallet jack navigates by laser SLAM and uses real-time traffic management and pallet detection to pick up loads. Laser scanners at the front, sides and rear, a 3D laser scanner on top, a 3D camera, anti-collision bumpers and emergency stops protect people around it, and it slows or stops in configured zones. It is rated for 2,000 kg, lifts 180 mm, travels at 1.5 m/s and positions to within 10 mm. The truck measures 1,837 x 901 x 2,025 mm and works in a 2,042 mm aisle with a 40 x 48 in pallet. A 24 V, 210 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery supports opportunity charging, with about 2 hours of charging for 8 hours of work, in temperatures from -5 to 40 C. Humro also lists a Maia 1500.
