The L4-S is Sevnce's lightweight explosion-proof wheeled inspection robot (Ex IIB T4 Gb, IP65), sized to reach narrow pipe runs, equipment gaps and other spots larger inspection robots cannot. Ultrasonic sensors give all-round anti-collision protection, and it patrols oil, gas, pipeline, tank and cable sites indoors and outdoors, sending data back in real time around the clock. Four-wheel drive moves it at up to 0.9 m/s with a 1.2 m turning circle; it climbs 20-degree slopes and 10 cm obstacles, wades 8 cm, navigates by laser to +/-3 cm and runs up to three hours with 1.5-hour charging between -20 and 60 C. It measures up to 1,065 x 655 x 1,000 mm and 285 kg. Standard functions include autonomous inspection, obstacle avoidance, remote control, video monitoring, offline inspection, sound-and-light alarm, auxiliary lighting, autonomous charging, two-way voice and one-key return, with options for laser gas telemetry, laser vibration measurement, optical and acoustic imaging, voiceprint and noise detection and flame detection.
