DESCRIPTION
Wilboar is a Cleaning-Robots from Genrobotics. It is built for Cleaning, Inspection, Remote. Key figures: released 2024.
Wilboar is a remote-controlled tracked rover from Genrobotics for cleaning and inspecting large horizontal confined spaces such as sewage pumping wells, sewage treatment plant (STP) wells, storm-water drains, culverts, canals and tanks. It complements the company's Bandicoot, which is built for vertical manholes. The rover is lowered into the space with an integrated deployment and retrieval system and driven on multi-terrain rubber tracks by an operator at a safe distance using a remote control panel; the working range can be extended by lengthening the cable. Interchangeable end-effectors, including grinders for solid waste, loaders for semi-solids and high-pressure jetting nozzles, break up and gather material, and an integrated sludge-suction module pumps slurry and hazardous waste out. IP68 night-vision cameras and lights give the operator a view in dark or submerged conditions. The default configuration measures 660 mm wide, 560 mm high and 1,200 mm long and can be customised; ATEX-compliant versions are offered for explosion-prone sites. Genrobotics lists deployments with Chennai Metrowater, Nellore Municipal Corporation, Trivandrum International Airport, Leh in Ladakh and Indah Water in Malaysia.
