DESCRIPTION

Welder is an Industrial-Robot from xLogic Labs. It is built for Grinding, Polishing, Welding.

Welder is the robotic welding cell that xLogic Labs designs, builds and runs inside its own dark factories for metal fabrication. It is not sold as a machine; customers buy the welded parts it produces through xLogic's online fabrication service. The cell carries a robot arm on an overhead gantry above a large work table and performs MIG and laser welding. It also handles the steps around the weld: laser cleaning and edge preparation before welding, and grinding and sanding afterwards. xLogic says the cell uses adaptive weld-path optimisation, inline quality checks and closed-loop process control, and its online platform checks the robot weldability of a customer's assembly and estimates weld cycle times before the job runs. The work envelope is 1,000 x 3,000 x 700 mm. It welds mild and carbon steel and stainless steel, up to 25 mm with MIG and 4 mm with the laser as standard, and does not weld aluminium.
