DESCRIPTION

TRID is a Mobile-Robots from Muvro. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Sorting. Key figures: 10 kg payload.

TRID is Muvro's multi-tier 3D smart sorter, in which autonomous carriers called Zed-Bots ride guided tracks horizontally along aisles and vertically between levels to drop parcels into chutes. It is built for re-binning, dark stores, micro-fulfilment, returns and order consolidation where floor space is limited. Parcels enter on an infeed conveyor, pass a barcode scanner, 3D dimensioning profiler and inline scale, and are assigned to a free Zed-Bot. Each bot carries an embedded single-board computer, a servo-driven bi-directional cross-belt and a Wi-Fi link to the master controller, keeps a 500 mm gap to other bots, and tips its parcel left or right into the destination chute. Bots recharge on a rail contact, about 40 minutes for more than 6 hours of running. The sorter handles parcels from 50 g to 10 kg and from 50 x 100 x 5 mm to 400 x 500 x 250 mm. One module sorts up to 1,800 parcels per hour and four modules 7,200. Bots travel at 0.8 to 1.2 m/s. Standard units have five sorting layers and are 5 to 50 m long, 1.2 m wide and 1.8 to 6 m high, with noise under 65 dBA.
