DESCRIPTION

Techno IML Robot is an Industrial-Robot from Technorobotic Machines. It is built for Machine-Tending, Packaging, Pick-and-place.

The Techno IML Robot series from Technorobotic Machines places printed labels inside plastic moulds before the container is blown or injected, so the label fuses into the finished bottle, jerry can or pail (in-mould labelling). Separate models suit injection blow moulding (IBM), extrusion blow moulding (EBM), injection stretch blow moulding (ISBM) and injection moulding (IMM) machines. Labels are stacked in a magazine. Servo-driven X and Y axes move the arms forward, a vacuum plucker picks the labels, and the arms wait for the machine's mould-open signal before entering the mould and placing them, held by vacuum pins or static charge. The carriage runs on a rack and pinion with tie-rod support, the end-of-arm tool is an aluminium monoblock, and sensors confirm the home, place and wait positions. Listed models include the IBM IML 6C and 8C (front and side entry), EBM IML 2C, EBM IML 2C JM25 for 10 to 25 litre jerry cans, ISBM IML 6C and 6C 70H, and side-entry IMM robots for paint and lube-oil pails. The EBM IML 2C measures 2,100 x 1,300 x 1,500 mm and weighs about 600 kg. The maker offers interfaces for Ferromatic Milacron (Uniloy), ASB, Central Machinery and Lianxin moulding machines.
