DESCRIPTION

SIRIUS is a Mobile-Robots from NIDO. It is built for Intralogistics, Lifting, Material-Handling. Key figures: 480 min runtime, 1500 kg payload.

SIRIUS is NIDO's family of natural-navigation autonomous mobile robots for unit-load carrying, lifting, conveyor transfer and tugging in distribution centres, warehouses and plants. NIDO says the robots are made in India and manufactured in-house. Three models share a 350 mm-high chassis. SIRIUS 100 carries 100 kg and tows 300 kg, SIRIUS 500 carries 500 kg and tows 750 kg, and SIRIUS 1500 carries 1,500 kg and tows 2,000 kg; lifter, conveyor and tug tops are fitted per application. All run at up to 1.5 m/s forwards or backwards, climb a 5 percent incline and work about 8 hours per charge, with battery swap or auto-docking. Positioning is within +/-50 mm, and docking to a marker within 20 to 30 mm. The robots navigate with 2D LiDAR and are protected by 2D safety laser scanners, contact bumpers, a safety PLC on the larger models and two or four emergency stops. They are rated IP21 for +5 to 50 C indoor use and communicate over dual-band Wi-Fi. The NIDONav and NIDOFleet software monitors the fleet and syncs with WMS or ERP systems.
