DESCRIPTION

REBORG-Z is a Mobile-Robots from ALSOK. It is built for Security, Monitoring, Patrol. Key figures: 180 kg, 120 min runtime, price ¥12,000,000, released 2019.

REBORG-Z is ALSOK's autonomous security and guide robot, its eleventh-generation security robot. It was unveiled at SECURITY SHOW 2019 in March 2019 and offered from spring 2019 for outright purchase or lease. It is meant to work alongside human guards rather than replace them, taking over standing watch and patrols in shopping malls, airports and stations, exhibition halls, banks, offices and factories; Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport was the first Japanese airport to deploy it. LiDARs on the front, rear and front diagonals let it move safely among people, ultrasonic sensors catch glass and other transparent obstacles, and touch sensors detect contact. It is dust- and water-resistant, so it can also patrol terraces and walkways outdoors. On security duty it uses face recognition to check people against a pre-registered list, detects screams and other abnormal sounds, carries flammable- and toxic-gas detectors, and spots fires with an infrared camera and flame sensor. It can sound a warning or light a deterrent lamp when someone crosses a guarded line, and sends images and alerts to guards and ALSOK control centres. A fire extinguisher and AED can be mounted as options. A touchscreen gives multilingual facility guidance with voice. ALSOK's 2025 flyer lists 700 x 700 x 1,530 mm dimensions, about 180 kg, a top speed of 4.6 km/h, slopes up to 5 degrees, six-wheel drive and a lithium-ion battery good for about two hours of continuous travel.
